South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics has reportedly discussed with its US carrier partners the release of LG G Flex in the country, and is currently nailing down the availability details for the smartphone.

While no specific launch date has been provided as of now, rumor has it that the phone won’t be released in the country until early next year.

According to a recent article on ETNews, the smartphone will become available for purchase in Europe or Hong Kong before the end of this year, but will be delivered overseas a bit later.

LG is expected to bring the phone to the US market via wireless carriers AT&T, Sprint and T Mobile, though an official confirmation on this has yet to emerge.

LG G Flex lands on the market with a 6-inch curved screen, as well as with a quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU inside. It also features 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and support for LTE networks.
