We’ve been telling you rumor had it LG was probably gearing up to launch its next-gen G Flex smartphone at CES 2015 later today.

Well, a few hours before the press conference starts in Las Vegas, the handset has already popped at the company’s booth on some pretty huge displays (as seen at Android Headlines).

We don’t know any specifics yet, but the LG G Flex 2 looks like it’s going to be a big device. It will probably retain the form factor of last year’s Flex, which took advantage of a 6-inch display with 720p.

Can we expect larger than that? Probably not, as LG will most likely continue to stick to 6-inch. Apart from the screen, the handset is expected to be one of the first to arrive with a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 CPU bundled under the hood.

On the other hand, the same thing applies for LG’s upcoming G G4 flagship which is also expected to take advantage of the same processor platform.

The upcoming device might also be made to work in concert with the so-called G Pen system, which is akin to what Samsung has been offering with its Note series.

So stay tuned later today to see what LG has in stores for us in terms of handsets.
