The smartphone will arrive in stores on November 2

The weird device announced by T-Mobile USA last week, LG DoublePlay is about to make its debut online starting tomorrow, and in stores from November 2.

According to the guys over at TmoNews, the dual-screen Android smartphone will be exclusively available at T-Mobile USA beginning today.

Customers who want to purchase the LG DoublePlay as fast as possible will be able to order it online today, while the first units will arrive at retail outlets on November 2.

LG DoublePlay is aimed at those who want to stay in touch with their friends and family via social networking services.

The phone is delivered with a 3.5-inch main touchscreen, a 2.0-inch secondary display, as well as a split slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

The DoublePlay is powered by Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and sports a 5-megapixel camera with HD (720p) video recording capabilities.
