After publishing a video detailing new features that owners of the LG Optimus G Pro will be able to enjoy in the Value Pack upgrade that was announced back in March, South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics confirmed that the update rollout would kick off tomorrow, April 12.

The upgrade will provide users with the aforementioned Smart Video, Dual Camera, and Pause and Resume Recording capabilities, as well as with some updates to existing features, LG announced.

“Magic Remote Pad will be added to the existing QRemote function to work specifically with LG Smart TVs. Similar to the touch pads of most notebooks, Magic Remote Pad turns the Optimus G Pro into a remote control for LG Smart TVs,” the company said, according to Engadget.

At the same time, the update will enhance Text Keypad, another new addition to QRemote, so that users could type on Smart TVs easier than before, thus turning the Optimus G Pro into a convenient input device.
