The smartphone will be available soon from all major retailers in the country

Indian OEM Intex has just announced the upcoming availability of its first mid-range smartphones powered by Android 4.4 KitKat, the Aqua i14 and Aqua N15.

Both smartphones will be available for purchase in the coming days from all major retailers across the country, fonearena reports.

Potential customers should know that the Aqua i14 will be available for purchase for only Rs 7,090 ($115 / €85) outright. The smartphone will go on sale in both white and black colors.

As mentioned earlier, the Aqua i14 will ship with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box. The smartphone has been confirmed to pack a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory.

Obviously, the smartphone offers dual-SIM capability with dual standby support, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Furthermore, Intex Aqua i14 sports a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 854 x 480 pixels resolution. It also comes with an enhanced 8-megapixel rear-facing photo snapper with LED flash and autofocus, along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera in the front.

The phone is powered by a 1850 mAh battery and includes various connectivity options, such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB and GPS with A-GPS.
