Before the end of this month, mobile phone users in China will have the option to purchase the Intel-based ZTE Geek smartphone, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

Packing a Clover Trail+ processor inside and a 5-inch 1080 x 720 pixel touchscreen display, the mobile phone is expected to land on shelves on July 25, exclusively through Jingdong Mall, Engadget reports.

The smartphone will be released with a price tag of 2,288 Yuan ($372 / €285) attached to it, bundled with a wireless charging kit (the phone alone costs 1,888 Yuan / $307 / €235).

The ZTE Geek also features an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, along with a front camera for making video calls, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal memory, paired with a MicroSD memory card slot for expansion purposes. The handset runs under Android Jelly Bean.
