An updated flavor of the Indigo application is now available for download on Windows Phone 8 devices, namely version 1.0.49.0.

The app was released as a clever voice-enabled personal assistant, capable of carrying out conversations with the user from the smartphone to the tablet, to the desktop, and back.

The release notes unveil the following: “When WP8 does not support dictation in the chosen language (for example Indian English) Indigo will use US English instead.”

With Indigo, users can easily update their Facebook status, read, retweet, and send Tweets, find recommended local restaurants, bars, and local amenities, create and store diary entries, play music stored on the phone, and more.

You can download Indigo 1.0.49.0 for Windows Phone 8 from Softpedia today. The application is available only in a beta version for the time being.
