14 DAY TRIAL // There is little doubt that the Ice Cream Sandwich platform and the new Nexus Prime smartphone will not become official next week.
The same as with all previous new versions of Android, Google has come up with a statue for Ice Cream Sandwich to be placed on its lawn, which clearly shows that the new platform flavor is almost here.
The company also sent out invites to an event scheduled for October 19th in Hong Kong, where Samsung will also be present, and where both the Ice Cream Sandwich OS flavor and the new Nexus Prime smartphone are expected to become official.
The new Android release should arrive on both smartphones and tablet PCs, offering support for all screen sizes and bringing unity to the platform. It will include elements from both Gingerbread and Honeycomb, the current versions of Android.
