Today at the IFA 2013 trade show in Berlin, Germany, we had the chance to play for a few moments with the latest high-end smartphone from Lenovo, namely the Vibe X.
The new mobile phone was made official on Thursday with a 5-inch full HD touchscreen display that can deliver a 440ppi pixel density, and with a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor inside.
Furthermore, the handset lands on shelves with 2GB of RAM, 16GB / 32GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.
On the back, the new mobile phone features a 13-megapixel photo snapper capable of delivering full HD video recording capabilities, while also featuring a 5MP front camera for making video calls.
The Android 4.2 Jelly Bean-based smartphone packs a 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery, is only 6.9mm thin, and weighs 121 grams with the battery packed inside.
Lenovo Vibe X won’t be sold in Europe, but those who will get the chance to buy it will be in for a treat. The handset feels great in the hand, sports an elegant metal finish, and is extremely light, despite its screen size.
