Microsoft is getting ready for the launch of a new version of the Windows Phone operating system, one that should arrive on devices as Windows Phone 8.1, and which is now said to sport a nice range of enhancements in the browser.

As WMPoweruser notes, Internet Explorer 11 Mobile, the default browser in Windows Phone 8.1, will arrive with a password manager inside, long expected to make it inside the app.

What remains to be seen is whether the upcoming OS version will also allow users to sync these login details, so that they could be used on other devices as well.

Of course, Windows Phone 8.1 will bring a great deal of other enhancements as well, such as saving emails for offline reading, a speed dial, the option to mute a conversation, and predicted weather in the calendar.

Other new features expected in the platform have been uncovered as well, as seen on WindowsPhoneLover’s Facebook page.
