The device is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform

WIND Mobile and Huawei have teamed up once again to offer customers another affordable Android smartphone, the U8651.

Huawei U8651 is an entry-level smartphone that runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and packs 3.2-megapixel camera with video recorder.

Although Huawei mentions the handset is available in three color options, black, white and red, WIND Mobile only retails the black version for the moment.

Other highlights of the U8651 includes a decent 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 320 x 480 pixels resolution, Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

The smartphone is available for free on WINDtab with $25 monthly plan, or on WINDtab with $40 monthly plan.
