Chinese handset maker Huawei officially introduced the Honor 3C mid-range smartphone in India a few days ago and confirmed that the device would go on sale soon for Rs 14,999 ($255 / €185) outright.

Although the smartphone is very popular in China, no one expected Flipkart’s announcement that Huawei Honor 3C will be exclusively available in India through its official retail channels.

After the success of Motorola Moto G and Moto E, it appears that more handset makers want to score exclusivity deals with one of the largest online retailers in India, Flipkart.

Anyway, those who wish to purchase the Huawei Honor 3C can now pre-order the smartphone via Flipkart for Rs 14,999 ($255 / €185) outright. According to the retailer, the device should hit shelves in the last week of May.

It is also worth mentioning that Flipkart offers an interesting deal to those who pre-order the Huawei Honor 3C, in the form of Rs 1,500 ($25 / €19) cashback (store credit). Free Royal Challengers Bangalore merchandise is available with Honor 3C pre-orders as well.

There are no details regarding what’s going to happen the moment Huawei Honor 3G arrives on the market later this month, but there’s a high chance other retailers may sell it as well, so the exclusivity may end the moment the pre-order period ends as well, AndroidOS reports.
