We have reported on the upcoming Huawei G750, which is supposed to be the first smartphone launched by the Chinese company to feature MediaTek’s octa-core processor and now it looks like its cheaper brother has just leaked.

GizChina reports that Huawei G730 has just been spotted at TENAA, the Chinese regulatory commission, which points to an imminent launch in the Mainland.

No info on whether this smartphone will be released in other countries as well, but word has it that the G730 will be available for only $130 (€95) outright.

Unlike the G750, Huawei G730 will pack MediaTek’s MT6582 chipset that accommodates a quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM.

The smartphone will also sport a large 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution. The G730 is also expected to pack microSD card slot for memory expansion, though we don’t have any confirmation yet.
