Chinese mobile phone maker Huawei has made official in its homeland market yet another large handset with mid-range specifications, namely the Huawei B199.

The new device was announced in the country with a 5.5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 720p resolution, as well as with a quad-core Snapdragon processor inside.

Furthermore, the handset has 2GB of RAM inside and 16GB of internal memory, paired with a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.

The Huawei B199 packs a 3000mAh battery and support for two SIM cards, along with 3G connectivity capabilities. The new mobile phone is set to arrive on the market with a price tag of around $330 (€241) attached to it.

Unfortunately, Huawei did not offer info on the device’s arrival in other countries out there, though we might see it released in more emerging markets as well, as Engadget notes in a recent article.
