Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation is expected to make official new smartphones in its Desire lineup, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

The handset vendor will hold a Desire-related press event on November 27 in China, and might announce the new devices there, VR-Zone reports.

According to the invitations, the new HTC Desire smartphones will be more colorful than other phones in the company’s lineup, though other details on what they will have to offer haven’t been provided as of now.

As AndroidBeat notes, chances are that HTC won’t come up with a new device meant to take on the recently released Moto G, despite the fact that it badly needs one.

However, we should expect a rather affordable new mobile phone from the company, even if specifics are missing at the moment. Stay tuned to learn more on this.
