We already reported on the upcoming software update for HTC Rezound a few days ago, and Verizon Wireless has just started pushing the update OTA (over the air).

The folks over at Phandroid have just been tipped by several users who received the update on their HTC Rezound devices, so we can safely assume that Verizon is deploying the update in stages.

The carrier already published the official change log of the update a few days ago, which is detailed below:

- Updated signal strength meter to 5 bar Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI);

- Screen Timeout issues while connected to Wi-Fi have been resolved;

- Resolved issue with Mobile Hotspot data stalling while multiple users are connected;

- Improved audio quality during voice call;

- Reduced forced closures related to the People application;

- Improved device stability reduces continuous resets;

- Resolved issue with Task Manager stopping Mail background service.

In the same news, HTC Rezound owners will also receive an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade sometime in Q1 2012.
