Taiwanese handset manufacturer HTC has just announced that it has released source codes for DROID DNA and some HTC One variants.

Although the original source for the DROID DNA has been released last year, the one launched recently refreshes the kernel code to match the latest software update that has been rolled out two months ago.

Surprisingly, HTC decided to release the source code for some HTC One variants as well, though the smartphone has yet to be launched in some markets.

All in all, both releases will greatly help developers cook new ROMs for both smartphones. It will also help Android tech savvy tweak some of the features included in these devices.
