Canadian wireless carrier Rogers has updated its OS upgrade schedule to inform users that it plans on making the Android 4.4 KitKat platform available for its HTC One users starting with late January.

The info comes only days after HTC confirmed that the new software release will be delivered to HTC One owners in North America by the end of next year’ first month.

Rogers also announced via its support website that it aimed at bringing the HTC One mini smartphone up to the newer flavor of Android in late February. Previously, the wireless carrier said that the upgrade would be pushed to this device in late January as well.

As MobileSyrup notes, these are only tentative release dates, and they might change in time, though we don’t expect Rogers to make the update available sooner than announced.
