Owners of HTC One max devices in Europe are reportedly receiving a new software update, one that brings the firmware version on this handset up to 1.54.401.1.

The new build is based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, the same platform version that was previously loaded on the smartphone, and delivers various fixes and improvements.

According to Android Central, HTC One max owners should see better touch responsiveness, SIM card detection, and Wi-Fi connectivity on their smartphones following the update.

Moreover, it appears that the new software version also improves the general stability of the handset. Other changes in the update include a fix for the issues that users have seen when posting HTC Shares to Facebook, and performance improvements for the HTC Power Flip Case.

No specific info on how long it will take for the update to land on all HTC One max devices out there has been provided as of now, but it should not be too long before all users get a taste of it.
