Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation is reportedly gearing up for the release of a new high-end smartphone in the One series, namely the One X+.

The handset has been spotted online before, and has just made an appearance in a newly leaked document, featuring model number S728e.

Apparently, the smartphone will be manufactured both in China and Taiwan, but only the latter model might land on the international market. As for the Chinese flavor, it could pack support for local TD-SCDMA networks, rumor has it.

HTC One X + should arrive on the market with a 4.7-inch HD screen, a 1.7GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core application processor inside, 8MP camera on the back, and a 1.3MP camera on the front.

It is also said to feature 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory, while running under Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
