HTC One X is one of the new smartphones expected to be introduced by the Taiwanese company this weekend in Barcelona. Previously known as HTC Edge or Endeavor, the device is part of a new lineup of Android-based phones dubbed “HTC One.”

This would be HTC’s first quad-core smartphone and is expected to sport a stunning 4.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 720p resolution. It will be powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and, hopefully, it will be launched in Q2 2012.

Anyway, it looks like the first press shot of the phone has just been published by the folks over at Pocketnow.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that impressive at all, on the contrary. Still, there’s a chance that the real thing might look much better than the photo above.
