It requires a 24-month plan from O2, Orange, T-Mobile or Vodafone

HTC One V has been available for pre-order in the UK for quite some time now. However, only the SIM-free version of the smartphone has been offered by various retailers across the country.

Starting today, customers who want to purchase the cheapest smartphone in the HTC One family will be able to do so via BuyMobilePhones retailer.

Moreover, HTC One V is available for free on select plans from £13.50 monthly. For the time being, O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone plan to offer the smartphone, but other operators might carry the One V as well.

HTC One V comes Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform out of the box, and packs a 1 GHz single-core processor, which is complemented by an Adreno 205 GPU, 4GB of internal memory, 512MB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
