Mobile phone users in the United States interested in the purchase of a new HTC One smartphone can now grab the phone for $0 upfront, courtesy of a new deal coming from the Taiwanese mobile phone maker.

Basically, the company allows users to grab the unlocked smartphone, which is compatible with GSM networks, without paying upfront for it, but with $25 (around €18) per month recurrent payments.

The handset costs $599 (€438) otherwise, which makes the deal quite tempting for those who really want to grab it but would rather not pay that amount of money all at once.

No contract agreement is required, but HTC users will have to pass a credit test when making the purchase. The promotion is available through HTC’s own website, where it will last until the end of this month, so head over there for additional info on what it involves.
