Although Rogers' sub-brand, Fido has the HTC One S for sale, it looks like the former plans to release the smartphone as well.

According to a Rogers internal document leaked via MobileSyrup, the carrier plans to offer its customers the option to upgrade to HTC One S.

There are no details regarding the smarpthone's availability and pricing options yet, but Fido is now offering the HTC One S for as low as $150 CAD with a new three-year agreement, or $550 CAD outright.

The smartphone will be shipped with HSDPA and HSUPA support, along with Wi-Fi, DLNA and TV-out connectivity. The phone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system integrated with HTC Sense 4.0 UI.

Hardware-wise, the One is pretty impressive as well. The smartphone packs a dual core Qualcomm MSM8260A Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.5 Ghz, complemented by 1GB of RAM and Adreno 225 GPU. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
