14 DAY TRIAL // It appears that HTC has just started the rollout of a small software update for its current flagship Android smartphone, the HTC One.
For the time being, we have reports coming from India via AndroidOS, that the update is available for unlocked HTC One. However, other countries may follow soon, so stay tuned for more info on the availability of this maintenance update.
According to the cited source, HTC has yet to release an official changelog, but the update mentions it adds some system enhancements among other things.
Keep in mind that software update 1.29.707.17 is only 17MB in size and is pushed OTA (over the air), so it may take some time to reach all HTC One devices in India.
On a side note, AndroidOS also reports the US developer edition of HTC is getting a similar update, but it has been tagged with another release number (1.29.1540.17).
