The update was rolled out in the US a few weeks ago

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for HTC One has finally arrived in the UK. After months of waiting, HTC UK has confirmed that the upgrade is now rolling out for all HTC One devices in the country, in stages.

The same update that was released in the United States by all major carriers with one exception (Verizon Wireless) a few weeks ago is now being deployed in the UK.

However, HTC One users in the UK will receive an improved version of the update, which contains Sense 5.5 UI. The latter is not available in the US, which is probably the reason why the upgrade was pushed there first.

Keep in mind that this is a staged rollout, so it might take a while until Android 4.3 Jelly Bean reaches all HTC One devices. Make sure you manually check for availability by going to Settings / About / Software updates / Check now.
