Good news for those anxiously waiting for the HTC One Max to go on sale, as the Taiwanese handset maker is rumored to announce the phablet next month.

According to Pocketnow, reports coming from China indicate that the HTC One Max might be officially introduced on October 15. The smartphone will then hit shelves in less than a few weeks for around $800 (€595) outright.

However, we don’t have any official confirmation regarding these new details that have emerged recently in the Mainland, so we should take it with a grain of salt.

The One Max is HTC’s first phablet powered by Android operating system. The smartphone is said to boast a large 5.9-inch capacitive touchscreen display and a powerful 1.7 GHz quad-core processor. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
