The latest HTC flagship smartphone, the One M8 has finally made its debut in India, even though the smartphone was slated for an early May release.

As AndroidOS points out, the HTC One M8 is now available for purchase in India through several brick and mortar stores, as well as online, for as low as Rs 47,700 ($790 / €570) outright.

However, some authorized resellers do not offer the smartphone right away. For example, Flipkart promises to start shipping all orders on May 8, but if you don’t want to wait until then, you can get the HTC One M8 via MaheshTelecom retailer, but you will have to pay a little extra.

For the time being, only the Gunmetal Grey color option is available for purchase, but HTC is expected to introduce the Silver version in the coming days as well.

Keep in mind that HTC has announced that the One M8 should be available in India for Rs 49,900 ($825 / €595) outright, but it looks like some retailers like Flipkart have decided to slash the phone’s suggested retail price by a little.

Make sure you check the HTC One M8 availability before ordering one, as some retailers will only start delivering the first orders in 5-8 business days.
