14 DAY TRIAL // The LTE-enabled HTC Jetstream tablet has just got its working root method. However, the rooting process will only work for units with unlocked bootloaders.
Fortunately, HTC Jetstream owners will be able to easily unlock bootloader by following the step-by-step instructions offered by the Taiwanese handset manufacturer via HTCDev.com site.
The rooting method for the HTC Jetstream is provided by XDA forum user DooMLoRD. The method was already tested by several users and seems to be fully functional.
There’s a set of instructions provided by the person responsible for the root, which can be found at XDA Developers.
Make sure you follow the instructions as they are explained inside the thread in order to avoid bricking your HTC Jetstream tablet.
It is also worth mentioning that the slate will be permanently rooted as soon as you complete the rooting method.
