14 DAY TRIAL // Unveiled back in February, the HTC Incredible S is reportedly receiving another major software update that is said to update the HTC Sense UI.
Although the phone was initially launched with Android 2.2 Froyo, HTC said that the Gingerbread update will be delivered “soon.”
It only took the Taiwanese handset maker three months to roll out the Android 2.3 Gingerbread upgrade to all HTC Incredible S owners.
Today, the Android smartphone is getting a new 3.08.405.2 software update, the folks at HTC-Hub claim. The update is 228 MB in size and is supposed to bring the HTC Sense 3.0 UI to the Incredible S.
According to the French change log the update also adds several new features and performance improvements.
There is no official confirmation yet, but the update may be rolled out in stages, so it might take a while until all European countries receive it.
