Today, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation released an updated flavor of its HTC Gallery application for devices featuring the Sense 6 UI, providing users with some appealing new features.

One of them is aimed at the owners of HTC One M8 devices and allows them to easily share live Duo Camera photos on the web.

“New feature for HTC One (M8) - Introducing Duo Effects Gallery, a web viewer that allows you to share interactive viewing experience of UFocus, Foregrounder and Dimension Plus with anyone,” HTC explains in the release notes attached to the new app iteration.

As AndroiCentral explains, users needed to apply effects on live photos and to save them as still images before sharing them online, but that has changed in the updated release.

In order to find the new Duo effect sharing feature, HTC One M8 users will have to select a photo, head to Edit > Effects, choose an effect, and then tap on the share icon that is present on the top right corner of the screen.

Additionally, the new application release arrives on smartphones with a variety of other improvements inside, though no specific info on them has been provided as of now.

The updated HTC Gallery application is available in the Google Play store.
