Two weeks have passed since Sprint rolled out the Android 3.2.1 Honeycomb update for the HTC EVO View 4G tablet. It appears that HTC Flyer owners are finally getting the same upgrade worldwide.

Based on owner feedback the update is now pushed to Wi-Fi only HTC Flyer tablets, as well as 3G versions located in the United States.

Android 3.2 Honeycomb is the latest major operating system update before Ice Cream Sandwich. For the time being, HTC did not confirm any plans for an Android 4.0 upgrade for the HTC Flyer.

More details will probably be unveiled as soon as the handset maker starts pushing the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade to some of its top-tier devices, such as the HTC Rezound and HTC Sensation XL.

According to the folks over at AndroidCentral the update is pushed OTA (over the air), so it’s recommended to manually check for the update.
