HTC Desire L is a new Android smartphone silently launched by the Taiwanese handset maker in Asia.

We don’t expect HTC to release this device outside Asia, but at least some Android fans will be able to grab this one soon.

Although HTC did not offer an official announcement for the Desire L, the smartphone recently appeared on the company’s Taiwanese site.

The Desire L seems to be powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and packs a 1GHz dual-core processor.

It also sports a 4.3-inch WVGA Super LCD2 capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels, as well as 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording.

On the inside, the Desire L packs 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.
