While no specific name has been provided, some of the rumors suggest that HTC might have been chosen as partner by CyanogenMod.
The report comes from Blog of Mobile and is based on discussions on the Ruliweb forums, but it would make sense for the two to partner for the launch of CyanogenMod-based devices.
In fact, as UnwiredView notes, HTC has been losing significant ground on the market during the past several quarters and really needs an escape plan.
Furthermore, the company has a history of being the first to enter yet unexplored fields, and the aforementioned partnership would provide it with the opportunity to do so once again.
