The update is reportedly pushed OTA (over the air) in Europe and U.S.

It looks like HTC has pushed the Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread update to more than just a few of its smartphones.

We reported earlier that the Desire HD, Incredible S and Wildfire S have already received the update, but it appears that the HTC ChaCha is also reportedly getting the update.

Although reports confirm that Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread is pushed OTA (over the air) in Europe and the United States, it seems that the update does not include the HTC Sense 3.0 user interface.

The memory management of the phone after the update is much better, but the dialer issue is still present. However, the latest update did not correct the dialer issue, which might indicate that this is in fact a Gingerbread-related problem.

No word on the Android 2.3.5 for the HTC Status yet, but we will keep you updated as soon as we receive word on its availability.
