One of the most expensive HTC smartphones available on the market, the Butterfly is about to get a new color option in Taiwan.

Engadget reports HTC Butterfly in pink will be launched in Taiwan on April 30. Customers who can afford it will be able to purchase this pink-themed HTC Butterfly for no less than 21,900 TWD outright, which is about $730 or €560.

The smartphone will have the same specs as the white and red versions, including the hyper-vibrant 5-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 coating.

HTC Butterfly ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, but the handset manufacturer confirmed an Android 4.2 update will be available at some point.

No word on the availability of the pink HTC Butterfly outside Taiwan, but stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
