Google+ for Android has just received a major update that brings a buckload of new features and tweaks, along with a completely new design.

With the latest version of Google+, users will be able to share their current location on their profile and control who can see it via settings.

In addition, there’s a new ability that allows uses to re-share posts to communities and control the volume of posts that are seen in user stream from individual circles (communities).

Google also introduced a new stream design and a new application setup flow. Last but not least, users will now be able to filter search results by best or most recent or tell others about a community by sharing it or sending an invitation.

Google+ 3.6.0.44338848 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
