A new flavor of the Google Search application is now available for download for the owners of Android devices, bringing along some appealing new features, including the option to set voice reminders.

The feature is available only for the owners of Android 4.1 and newer devices (where the app is known as Google Now), and allows users to set reminders by simply saying: "remind me to buy milk this evening," "remind me to take out the trash when I get home," and other similar phrases.

Following the update, the app also features upcoming books, music albums, TV shows and video games that the user might like, along with real-time public transit updates in select cities, and a “last train home” feature in Japan.

Those who would like to learn more on these enhancements should go to this page on Google’s support website. The latest flavor of Google Search for Android can be found on Softpedia via this link.
