Some users might get the update sooner than others

It seems that Google Play will soon be getting an update that will bring a few tweaks to the search giant’s app heaven.

Google’s own Android interface engineer, Kirill Grouchnikov, teased a .gif on his Google Plus account which showcases two important changes.

Given the fact that he used the #rollingout hashtag, we can assume the update is rolling out for select users, but we are yet to receive it on our end.

Now about the tweaks you can expect to see. First off, Google Play will get a white Search bar on top of the Play store, while removing the small search magnifying glass button in the process.

The Google Search bar has yet to make an appearance in other Google apps, but maybe this is the sign the search giant is ready to start pushing out this function further beyond.

The second notable change consists in bringing back the spinning wheel. The animation was previously used with several iteration of Play Store, but was eventually eaten up by the full page hamburger menu on the left.

Anyway, if you want to check if Google has updated Google Play, go to Settings and then tap on the Build version.
