A new iteration of Google Play Store (formerly known as Android Market) is now available for download for the owners of devices running under the Android platform, namely version 3.5.16.

The latest flavor of the mobile client is meant to resolve a series of issues that users have reported with it lately, such as force closes or the inability to view purchased applications.

Moreover, the new app release reportedly features performance enhancements, and should prove snappier than before.

The new Google Play Store 3.5.16 is being pushed to users over-the-air, which means that all those who had version 3.5.15 should receive it soon.

However, those who want to install it before Google delivers it to them should be able to find the .apk file up for download on the web, as Android Police notes.
