Yesterday, Google started to push out a new flavor of its Google Play Newsstand application for the owners of Android-based devices out there, namely version 3.2.1.

The new app iteration was expected to land on smartphones and tablet PCs mainly with various fixes inside, but it seems that new features were also included in it, as Android Police has found out.

Apparently, the software now sports a first-time setup process that will allow newcomers to easily get started with it. However, those who have already set it up will not get the chance to enjoy this process at all.

At the same time, the updated Newsstand application now includes offers that might have been tailored in accordance with the previous reading preferences of users.

However, the feature hasn’t been turned on just yet, which means that users will not get the chance to have a close look at it yet. Even so, Google appears to be good to go with this one, and chances are that it will flip the switch on soon.

The new Google Play Newsstand 3.2.1 app iteration should already be arriving on devices out there and can also be found in the Google Play store. Users are also able to download the .apk manually now, provided that it does not show via official channels.
