A new flavor of the Google Play Books application is now available for download for the owners of Android-based devices, namely version 3.1.33.

Unfortunately, Google hasn’t provided specific info on what was updated in the new application release, though chances are that users will receive various fixes for some of the issues that the app was found to be affected with.

The new Google Play Books iteration follows the previously released version 3.1.31, which re-enabled users to upload PDF and EPUB files to their library. The feature was available in the mobile client last year, but Google removed it via a subsequent update, only to bring it back last week.

With Google Play Books on their Android-based devices, users can easily access the millions of books available on Google Play, including new releases, New York Times bestsellers, and more.
