Fill rates and revenues should be back to normal now

It's been about two weeks since fill rates and revenues for Windows Phone developers who use AdMob dropped to under 10%.

While everyone thought that Google plans to make Windows Phone's life even harder now, it looks like there wasn't something deliberate that led to these issues.

At least that's what Google claimed yesterday when it finally responded to many developers asking about the issue. The search giant confirmed that there's indeed an issue with AdMob for Windows Phone and that it will provide a fix as soon as possible.

Well, it looks like it took the company less than a day to address the problem and make it right once again. Google has just confirmed that last night it has fixed the Windows Phone issue in AdMob.

If that proves to be accurate, it means that fill rates and revenues should now be back to normal. But what if Google acknowledged the issue two weeks ago when the first Windows Phone developers started to report massive drops in fill rates and ad revenue?

They would have probably fixed the problem earlier and developers wouldn't have been hurt by this issue for such a long time. Oh well, better late than never.
