A new flavor of Google Currents is now available for download via the Android Market, namely version 1.0.1, which brings along a series of performance enhancements, for all users to enjoy.

The application was initially released only two weeks ago, with the intent to provide Android and iOS users with the possibility to enjoy a magazine-like experience straight on their devices.

The main changes in the new application release are aimed at stability and data sync, and should result in a better performance.

Those who experienced any kind of issues with the initial flavor of the application should not meet them after installing the new release (especially if they were sync-related). The application is available for download via the Android Market for all devices that run under Google’s Android 2.2 or newer operating system flavors.
