Today, Verizon Wireless has officially confirmed the upcoming availability of two new versions of the HTC One (M8) smartphone on its network, namely Amber Gold and Glamour Red, starting with June 5.

According to the wireless carrier, the Glamour Red flavor of the phone will be available exclusively on its network, yet users will be able to grab the Amber Gold variant through select authorized Verizon Wireless retailers as well.

Additionally, the company has announced a special deal for its users, in celebration of the upcoming Father’s Day, which includes cutting $100 (€72) off any smartphone priced $199.99 (€144) or higher, with the HTC One (M8) included. Of course, the deal is available only with a two-year contract agreement.

When released, the new color versions of HTC’s latest flagship device will pack the same features and capabilities that the previously available variants (Gunmetal Gray and Glacial Silver) did.

Thus, they will allow users to easily take great selfies with the 5-megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera and to enjoy great download speeds on the carrier’s 4G LTE network.

“Create a music playlist and play dad’s favorite tunes though the HTC One’s dual front-facing stereo speakers so everyone can enjoy. If the family is not a fan of dad’s tunes, the smartphone comes with headphones in the box so dad can still enjoy his music,” Verizon notes in a blog post.
