Chinese handset maker Huawei wants to rule them all and plans to launch a phablet that will boast a, wait for it, 7-inch display. Yes, you read it right, Huawei will be releasing a 7-inch device that can be used to make and receive calls and which is not a tablet.

GforGames reports that the said device has been recently pictured alongside Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3, which looks like a small device in comparison.

Aside from the huge display, which is said to support full HD (1080p) resolution, Huawei’s upcoming smartphone will be equipped with a 1.6GHz quad-core Hisilicon V9R1 processor and 2GB of RAM.

No word on the amount of storage, but reports coming directly from China claim that the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and will ship with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

Last but not least, Huawei’s 7-inch smartphone measures 183.5 x 103.9 x 7.5 mm and weighs 239g (battery included). It will be priced at around $200 (€147) outright.
