Owners of a Galaxy Note smartphone on the network of wireless carrier Rogers in Canada should get a taste of the Android 4.0.1 Ice Cream Sandwich before the end of July.

Other wireless operators in the country have already confirmed plans to release the update sometime in late July, but no specific availability date has been provided so far.

However, a leaked internal document from Rogers that emerged over at MobileSyrup shows that the update should land on July 21st for the carrier’s devices.

The release date is a Saturday, and the news site notes that this is rather odd. However, since this is no official confirmation on the launch, things might change in the end.

One way or the other, the sure thing is that the Canadian Galaxy Note is bound to taste Ice Cream Sandwich in July, so stay tuned to learn more on the roll-out.
