Today, South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung electronics made its Galaxy Note II smartphone available for purchase in the UK.

The SIM-free flavor of Galaxy Note II is listed on Amazon’s website with a £530 ($860/€665) price next to it, with 16GB of internal memory. The handset is also available at Three UK with a price tag of £500 on Pay As You Go plus top-up.

Users will also be able to acquire the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean handset on contract at £69, on £34 per month plans. As expected, the phone is nowhere near cheap.

Galaxy Note II packs a large 5.5-inch screen, along with a quad-core 1.6GHz application processor inside, and an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

A 3,100mAh battery powers the phone, and there are also a nice range of exclusive features from Samsung to enjoy with it, such as the S Pen.
