The first firmware for the Galaxy Note 8.0 LTE tablet PC from Samsung is now available online, based on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and packing PDA version N5120XXBME1.

The software is available for the GT-N5120 model in Germany, over at SamMobile, and is said to have been cooked on May 6.

Made official at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February this year, Galaxy Note 8.0 lands on shelves with an 8-inch screen capable of delivering a 1280 x 800 pixels (WXGA) resolution. The device also sports a 1.6GHz quad-core processor inside, 2GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, S Pen functions, and Samsung’s Touch-Wiz Nature UX loaded on top of Android 4.1.2.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 is set to receive an upgrade to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
