South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics has been long rumored to plan the launch of a Galaxy Note 3 smartphone, yet no official confirmation on the matter has emerged until now.

However, a Korean analyst said in a recent note to clients that the handset vendor is getting ready for the launch of this large smartphone in September, so as to help it boost sales in the last quarter of the year.

Previous Galaxy Note smartphones were made official at the IFA expo in Berlin, and chances are that Samsung will make a similar move this year as well, given that the trade fair will take place between September 6 and September 13.

Official confirmation on this has yet to emerge but, with most rumors on the device pointing at a fall release, it should not come as a surprise if Samsung indeed launches it at IFA, as PhoneArena notes.
